The services of our hotel ensure a most relaxing and enriching stay which you will recall with pleasure long after your departure.

Refresh yourself in our sauna and massage facilities. Pingpong table and garden toys are available for the active. On rainy days guests may entertain themselves by playing fusball, or watching TV in the lounge. All guests are entitled to receive reduced price tickets to the St Gotthard Spa and Wellness bath.

Our conference room may accommodate up to 50 people and is an ideal venue for wedding parties or conferences.

Further possibilities for relaxation in the Őrség, Apátistvánfalva area:

  • Hiking, cycling, nordic-walking.

The topography offers ideal location for hiking, cycling and nordic-walking. On request we can organize tours for our guests in the Őrségi National Park.
We have bike racks, rent-a-bike service, nordic walking sticks and maps at our guests' disposal. We pay attention to every detail so that you can have the time of your life.

  • Winter sports

Due to the close proximity of Austria and Slovenia, lovers of winter sports may use Apát Hotel as headquarters while making day-trips to the neighbouring countries. Popular Austrian ski resorts are about 1-1.5 hours drive from the hotel. Depending on the number of participants we can provide transport for groups, and on request we prepare abundant cold food packs for our guests.

  • Horseback riding, fishing and other specialities

At the nearby stables our guests may try horseback riding, while the Lake Hársas is truly a fishermen's paradise.
The herb garden in the neighbouring village is another have-to-see attraction. Last but not least, mushroom hunting proves to be an amusing pastime, and we have guides with whom you may explore the forests in search for your dinner.
